The instructions for the loose-fitting and cozy sweater are for girls and boys.
The sweater is knitted top down. First, the neck cuff is knitted with a firm yet elastic cuff edge. From the cuff, a cord is knitted on both sides. New stitches are knitted out along this cord and the stitches of the neckband are picked up. These stitches form the front of the jumper and are knitted in the false English rib pattern to the desired length. The back piece is worked in the same way. New stitches for the sleeves are knitted out on the sides of the sweater and the sleeves are worked in the same pattern, back and forth. Then the sides and sleeves are sewn together.

Measurements of the knitting
Width: approx. 35 (39) 42 (45) 47 (49) cm.

Sleeve span: approx. 86 (100) 114 (122) 130 (137) cm.
Wool: Drops Baby Merino (50 g = 175 m) single-ply or an alternative wool with a similar yardage.
Consumption: approx. 250 (300) 350 (350) 350 (400) g.
Knitting sample: False English rib, with NS 4.0 mm, after washing
10 x 10 cm = 30 stitches x 42 rows. For this, knit at least 35 stitches and 46 rows. The number of stitches for the pattern should be divisible by 4, plus 3.
Needles: circular knitting needles 3.0 mm and 4.0 mm with at least 60-80 cm cord.
Materials: A few meters of wool of the same thickness in a contrasting color (auxiliary yarn)
